Movement is Medicine

Movement is Medicine

Movement has a multitude of benefits, from flexibility, strong muscles, and pain relief to stronger immunity, better sleep, and improved general health and mental health. Exercise doesn’t have to mean going to the gym or attending group classes if you don’t feel comfortable in these environments. It could be going for a walk, doing some gentle stretches at your work desk, taking the stairs instead of using the lift, following pre-recorded exercise classes on the internet, dancing round your house to some music you love, or even housework and gardening.

Check out the leaflet below to find out more ways that movement and exercise can help to boost your health.
